The first is a specialized maintenance services contract at the Codelco Chuquicamata Refinery, ensuring the operational continuity of one of the most critical industrial processes of the state-owned mining company. The process was carried out through a competitive bidding procedure and enabled a smooth and gapless transition between the end of the previous contract and the start of the new one, safeguarding the safety of people, facilities, and production. The re-award confirms the client’s trust in Nexxo’s historical performance, supported by consistent compliance with safety, quality, and operational management standards, as well as a technical proposal aligned with the challenges of a highly complex operation. The contract includes specialized maintenance services, such as work on cells, pipelines, electrical systems, floor and channel maintenance, liquid transport piping, and industrial cleaning of equipment, all under Codelco’s corporate protocols and regulations.
Meanwhile, in La Negra, at the Altonorte complex, Nexxo obtained the re-award of the contract to continue providing operational maintenance services for industrial cleaning at Altonorte. This reaffirms the client’s trust and consolidates the company as a strategic partner in a highly demanding operation. The new agreement projects a long-term relationship between both parties. The continuity includes the execution of work across all areas related to metallurgical recovery and the operational availability of the facilities, maintaining a constant focus on personnel safety and process reliability.
